hahaha when i´ve wrote that i know that you will say that, I´ve said those descriptions because I wanted to say, we are more into the style of a commercial label, I know that releasing common stuff get you in the sea of releases BUT for a starting commercial in beatport label it´s very important to:

1- show that has his own style
2- to have a solid ammount of artist
3- to sell!

When we release our first stuff you will see that we are not a lot into "pitched down voice" (by the way you also got "grindhouse" appart from "techno vocals" lol ) but about getting our own sound.

So what i wanted to say is " we release techno that is creative, but not a experimental stuff, so we are into dance floor stuff more than hearing in your house stuff "

I hope everyone don´t get the wrong idea of the label, but to stay in beatport b*tch you must sell...

Cheers...

yeah but for how much longer will that sound last? Most people i know are sick of that sound and i never hear that sound in clubs anymore (maybe thats my choice of nights). as your from argentina i would have imagined you would go for stuff like Dilo, Gurtz and Seph or maybe something a bit more south american sounding. Both of those sells and works better on the dancefloor.

yeah, but DILO has his own label...
we are aiming to that sound, but what are you telling me are the known producers of Argentina.
I´m gonna tell one thing, here in Argentina you got, Rosario (Dilo, Jorge Savoretti, etc) Buenos aires (Mariano Dc, Deep mariano, Cattaneo) and Cordoba ( no one that´s really known and were we are based )
In rosario everyone produces as the possibility of djing is a bit harsh and the relationship between some of them are bad!!!
In Cordoba all the "djs" are into djing and fighting each other to have a night in the local clubs... That why Cordoba doesnt have a distinctive sound and that what I´m aiming!
As the label progreses (hopefully) you will get to see more Argentine artist! and so the philosofy of the label taken in action, but know everyone is so busy looking themselves in the mirror, so no KNOWN argentine artist yet!
Only new artist with a great great sound! so If i can wake up other argentine producer from their "successful dream" it would be great.

My objetive is to "UNIFY"!!!

Cheers

Just wondering are all the local DJ's playing digital? If you want to unify you should think about having a physical product sold in local shops. Then you really will be the local label. I don't know where half the stuff on beatport is from.

Just don't go too m_nus or italian sounding ;)

A lot of them (maybe everyone) are digital djing...
In cordoba we got no record store and in buenos aires they might be but the number is very small. Argentina is the home of digital dj´s! hehe.
We are looking forward to release Vinyl but in the near future!!

Cheers

hey....here some facts....

1)its impossible to make vinyls in argentina. there are no factories. not so many record stores as well. argentina is a country were a lot of the music is downloaded free, someway somehows, not much people pay for music. thats one of the reason why i did a net label with free music, specially for countries like this....where people dont have so much money to spend on music.

2)igloo managed to be known as argentinean label without doing vinyls yet. its not that we dont want to, we just cant at the moment. (in argentina)

3)im not from rosario, i was born in La Plata but lived all my life in Buenos Aires.

4)i play digital personally but many djs here use vinyls like Violett, Franco Cinelli, Nico Purman, Simbad, etc. most are fusing both things, vinyl and serato/traktor.

thats all basically.
i wish the best for all upcoming labels in argentina, the bigger the scene, the better. just try to be originals. 8)

I thought you was from Rosario.
He knows what´s he talking about, I hope someday our label could get as Igloo.
About vinyl it´s true, but I was thinking into selling it outside argentina, I know our position so first like I´ve said in a distant future!
and yeah in Argentina a lot and I mean A LOT just download stuff from P2P as a release that cost $2 usd for us its $6 pesos, so yeah we are paying 3 times the track...

Thanks a lot for posting men
