^^ SOO interested in Ecler.

I've missed a couple old ones to purchase...... the 32 or 40 or 42, kind of an amazing green color?

They went cheap, I'm curious if anyone knows about the preamp/circuit quality of the old ones.....

I hear only great things about their companies sound reputation...

no clue on the old ones, but i can tell you from personal experience, as well as that of the word of other sound techs at clubs that use them or get a chance to use mine, they can't believe how clear and loud the sound is (better than that of a pioneer djm.800, they say), and its exceptionally warm sounding (which the djm.800 isn't).

for the money, i honestly don't think you can find a better company. all the ecler stuff is amazing, if you ask me.

Thanks eric., yeah I want to hear one of the 'classic' Eclers, tho, B.D.... :D

ps. Come back to Minneapolis, in say, Summer, we'll set you up with an extended dubby, beach, behind a waterfall, 116-121 set, eh?

sounds perfect to me. :) give me like 8hrs on the decks and i'll have a field day.

if i remember correctly, there's some relation to ecler with either bozak or urei, can't remember which, but that explains the warmth of their mixers as well as the build quality (though there was a period in the late 90's that ecler was on the same level as gemini due to cost cutting practices).
