Always been a huge supporter and so looking forward to hearing this. Been out of the loop for a while who might you folk suggest as being highly listenable in the same Sirromttam/ Lee Curtiss/ Troy Pearce mould?

I didnt consider his previous productions too "minimal" either. It's just that they had a kind of darker atmosphere to them which is more like my taste.
I still think Lee is one of the best producers around since some years ago but I dont dig his new productions so much.

I have to agree with you here. What happened to that dark, twisted backwoods kind of sound that we heard on his 'taint' ep and in his 06/07 PAs? His last few PAs have sounded way too housey for my taste and dare i say... cheesy. Regardless of lee's roots, i'd like to hear him return to this style.

vs. the (perhaps) more plugin based approach / lighter side.

when he moved and started to export his loops via abelton - his sound changed...

the live pa Im referring to I think was 100% loops out of reason..

as artist we twist and change & come back again...

however he's back home..

so stay tuned...
