I used to pay 1250 euros per month for a 3 bed semi detached house in Dublin and left a year ago as the landlord was putting the rent up to 1400 euros p/m,which was in line with everywhere else in the area.
So I moved about an hour away to a more rural part of Ireland (Kildare) and am now paying 950 for a 3bed house but will be moving (again) in April to a 4bed detached house with space for my studio and my girlfriends art studio for 1100 euros per month.
It's fucking ultra expensive to live in Ireland (especially Dublin) but on the plus side the wages are super, super high so it all works itself out in the end.
