David Tonspiel, a young german artist & dj presents his "Nachtschicht" ("Night shift") EP as a netrelease on ItaloBusiness. From the meeting of (new) Wave & Industrial, he was attracted to techno music for the first time by listening to "Alter Ego - Nasty Dollars". From that on he was fascinated by electronic music, similarly the simplicity & the effect it causes. In the last two years he began producing digital music, which had the effect he was getting more & more into minimal (the charm of listening to a limited amount of sounds, instruments & possibiltys, but hearing and feeling nonetheless an absorbing track). His tracks are based on a straight oppressive bass, impulsive percussion, often plastic noise sounds & using voice samples in an experimental way. But you'll find a lot of creaking dirty synthies in there two, what creates a dark, more technoid atmosphere. Producing brought him to djing, playing own beats & samples and tracks of his friends & companions Schubert Schuhmann and Maximilian Hertz.
