why do you need a separate software? ableton has midi clock..

edit: ah now i see the 'from line in' thing... so you want something that generates midi clock from your audio signal? my hardware sampler can sync to audio, but i havent heard of such software, sorry to be of no help.

If it exists it wouldnt work well for live use, delay and such.
Hardware is much faster, for example the soundbite micro !

The Sounbite Micro does excact this - generate a midi clock according to the audio input (don't forget that the sample loop option of the micro is also great).

I got one since two months and it works great, but unfortunately i have to sell it.... So, if you're interested - let me know before i put it on ebay.
