WRCK005 : Consumption
Release Date : Early Fall
Format : 12" vinyl + digital
This project was born of the American culture of consumption. Field
recordings were made in metropolitan shopping centers during the
United States holiday season. Conversations drifted into ambient
sounds of money being spent, commerce being transacted. The results
of these recordings were then sent to artists to be turned into music.
A1 : Someone Else + Miskate - Bagtime
a minimalist dancefloor workout, with a host of sounds panning across the stereo spectrum. the standout element is this grating yet infectious sound that resonates throughout the track, once heard, is impossible to dismiss!

B1 : ltk – Would you like a bag for your bag?
quirky, clicky, and indicative of the perils of instant gratification. the title sample, queried by a young attractive female, is a statement of bitter irony. cash registers ring, children laugh, and santa claus brings home the bacon.

B2 : Eidolon – Last Victim
a deep and dark foray into a future of dwindling returns. the closing track on this ep is filled with complexities and intricacies that need more than a casual listen to fully grasp. the standout element is the synth line made from a beeping french fry machine.

D1(digital exclusive) : Ong's Hat - Ong's Grainery
a 13 minute 4 on the floor romp reminds of carnival rides and and an 8 bit past. shuffling lo-fi percussion plays against the strict kick drum. doors open and close, with the 3 note theme omnipresent in some form.

Future releases :
WRCK006 : LTK – Remote
This EP is highlighted by the remixing skills of current techno
champion Paco Osuna. With deep nasty vocal slices and reverbed
extended snares, this remix will tear the roof off. The original
version of "Bear" is a minimal bass machine, with 3 note repetition
being emphasized as well in the synth line. The Decimal remix is
dancefloor jackin techno with a build that brings the musical idea to
fruition.
A1 : LTK – Remote Viewpoint (Paco Osuna Remix)
B1 : LTK – Bear
B2 : LTK – Bear(Decimal Remix)
WRCK007 : In the mood
Minimalistic and bass intensive, "in the mood" explores the sonic
surroundings. The vocal bits are reflected and refracted, panning and
dripping. The JPLS rework is stripped down yet funky, with
polyrhythmic elements and spaced out vocal treament. The SozAdams
remix is a unique take on the musical ingredients of the original,
layering many levels of panning vocal effects over an infectious
groove sequence.
A1 : arg0n – in the mood
B1 : arg0n - in the mood (JPLS remix)
B2 : arg0n - in the moood (sozAdams rmx)

you should probably write "someone else and miskate" in the title of this thread so people will read it.
