mixer with effects question?!

i just used the dxm09 last night and thought it was horrible. the effects are useless.

i've got a dxm 06... I don't think the quality is poor for your bedroom, but I can see where it wouldn't sound to good in the club. I use it in conjunction with my 464, the effects are pretty good in my book. Most built in effects on mixers suck anyways...
