It is a shame that minimal seems to be everywhere but Los Angeles. I go to university in Santa Barbara (north of Los Angeles) and the scene is even more dead there. There's only one club in Santa Barbara for <21 ages and it's a lame electro club. ( http://www.myspace.com/factorydisko )
I keep up on minimal as much as possible now after being introduced this summer by friends in Holland.
