I'm a vinyl man. I would probably get me hands on serato if I could afford it aswell though. anyway what I like is not so much using vinyl to mix with (although I do find a mix more rewarding) but, having a record collection I recently organised it and it was like a look back at my journey through music after I bought decks it's like (exscuse the pun) you have a record of what tunes you have bought & when you got them I don't feel you get this with mp3s. you see how your tastes have changed & maturedCelltek wrote:I'm right there with you. A few years ago I switched to CD exclusively. I did that for 1 year and now im back with Vinyl and loving it. A record seems so much better when you can hold it and flip it etc etc.. But thats personal oppinion i suppose..miroslav wrote:Everyone I know in town is switching to digital precisely for that reason...they spend almost half less than what they used to for the equivalent amt of tunes (convenience of carring and all that other stuff aside). I'm a dinosaur...wondering how much longer I'll even be able to still get my records!
off topic I know sorry
