We are delighted to welcome sthlm audio label owner Agnes on this second release on lomidhigh lmtd. Agnes is known for his deep, dubbed-out productions with a heavy bass, and explores as well more house-influenced rhythms and textures. His luxurious layers of less-is-more aesthetics is well known among DJs and club connoisseurs.
The lomidhigh crew first teamed up with Agnes at Culture Box in Copenhagen in April 2006. He was turned on at first sight. At that point, the concept of lomidhigh lmtd was only a bright idea in the mind of Daniel (founder of lomidhigh). Furthermore, Agnes really wanted to do something special with this two tracker. Something deep, warm, and sensitive combined with an exploration of dub moods. So he did.
Strictly Limited
This is a 10” release and is strictly limited with only 200 copies pressed for the release. All are hand-numbered and with handmade stencil artwork on each cover. This is the concept of every lomidhigh lmtd release.
Tracklisting
“Nines Reciprocity” on A1 is a very deep and introspective track, which excels in elegance and refinement. It is equipped with a detailed sound design, highlighting the artist’s quality on his continue musical experimentation.
“Everything You Need Is Two” on B2 is similar to the previous, but it has a more rarefied atmosphere, a track which is perfectly suited for the ravers that appreciates something that goes straight to their soul in the afterhours. Also suitable for a track you listen to when you are daydreaming on the couch.
