sounds like many basslines that have i generated using my trusty commodore 64

check out the bassline on "seytinpyook mos6581 rmx" there is some sine wav bass at the beginning but the main break down is the part i am talking about. check out the beat-free part before the second break down for a lot of farty clippy growling. can't give you times right now cuz i am at work.

I've found more staccato / short sub tones to work well

side chaining is also a great help for that professional touch.
[ducking the sub, so your kick stays pronounced]

make sure your bass and sub are mono
and not sitting in the same freq
they should be complimentary
