if you're asking about recording the audio from your set, I think it's a really bad idea unless you have external gear that you're trying to record.
If your set is composed entirely inside of ableton, you might want to record the midi from your set and deal with the audio later.

I can agree with manipulating for a dj set. It almost gives a dj a bit more credit maybe. DJs are very overated just mixing two tracks together. My personal experience has been that it's not that interesting, usually, to hear the djs "advanced" take on things. I'm sure there are people ou...
