Check the Focusrite Liquid Mix. It's the best software compressor (and EQ) that I've ever tried.
Focusrite has analysed different settings and bahaviour on different vintage compressors and then simulates it using DSP.
You get enough channels of compressors and EQ's for a track, I'm sure.
I love it.
