there's nothing wrong with "sounding like nothing". you don't have to have a sound signature. also using the same type of kick drum or vocals on your tracks is not really a sound signature. imo it's more rewarding to try out new ideas and sounds on every new track you make.

audible aliasing = when aliasing happens in audible frequencies (higher frequencies usually)

how about over compression/loudness war?? especially electronic music seems to be suffering a lot from it now days.
