can you guys recommend some pattern step sequencer with midi out? I'm looking for something like FL studio step sequencer thingy, cos it's quick and very fun to use. Roland U-110, use it for all my strings, guitars and other such. Yeah it's a PCM based sound module but I paid £45 for it and with some nice post processing of the sounds you can make some really interesting noises quite quickly. Here is a demo liveset I quickly recorded to go hunting for gigs in the local area. But you do know that we live in 2008 and not 1992 right? The times has changed SO much, there's not the same amount of money involved more. Nanoloop is an after market cart that gives you real time access to the gameboy's sound chip. Basically it turns it into an a bit synth with up to 8 channels of audio.
