Roland U-110, use it for all my strings, guitars and other such. Nanoloop is an after market cart that gives you real time access to the gameboy's sound chip. Basically it turns it into an a bit synth with up to 8 channels of audio.

Can you access the sound chip with the cart/program your using there like you can with nanoloop? There's nothing more amusing than writing 8-bit on the bus home from work.
