yeah i saw it :D

where i live, we could see no more than 80% of the eclipse at its
peak time (around 2pm).
we have a sunny day here today, and the sky colours, as well as the
reflections on the ground looked a bit awkward. as if someone was
...photoshoping with global saturation & contrasts.

but in the island of Kastellorizo (in the far south-east corner of Greece)
the total eclipse was fully visible for 4 minutes... saw it in the news and
it was absolutely extraordinary. Complete night scenery.

well, the next total one visible from over here will be in ...2088! 8)
i can remember when the air was clean and sex was dirty.

ah yes... and something really weird we observed here at the office while
trying to watch the phenomenon out in the yard...

around 7-8 bees and flies were crawling, like half-dead, on the ground,
during the eclipse peak.

just googled it and read that insects are indeed heavily affected.
strange, innit!

nice

i saw the one that went across south of teh UK a few years ago..

very strange when the sun covers up, all the animals go quiet... apparently some farmers had their cows at teh gate cos the cows thought it had been night and that it was time to be milked..

nature can be indeed funny, how small things affect animals (insects in this case) :)

Here in croatia it was like 50%, and it was sunny all day, no clouds, but i didn't see it anyway, was on college :D
