Myspace sound quality

Hi!

I notice that everytime i upload a track on myspace the quality of the track really changes a lot (in a bad way). Why is that? Does anybody else notice this and what can you do to prevent it? I always upload 320' mp3

master your tracks. myspace player seems to prefer louder music. if you listen to the tracks on my myspace you will hear how bad the quality is because they are unmastered.

myspace compresses the data ever more. can't remember how much but people round here know.

as far as I remember it changes the quality to 128 or is it lower, can't remember, but it's low, AND it seems to do it quite bad too.

last time i checked it was 96k. just good enough for the clubs.

yep, 96 kbps. dosent really matter if you upload a 320 kpbs or 128....

Myspace audio quality is terrible; it's no secret. The data does need to be compressed in order for it to stream efficiently enough - but whether Myspace could use a better algorithm is up for debate...

be glAD IT CONVERTS TO sh!t quality - theres simple free programs to rip the music directly from the myspace player.
