Basslines

Hi guys,
Been working on a few tracks recently, but cant seem to find a decent plug in to make some bass sounds.

Any help/tips or advice would be appreciated!

Trilogy is cool... or if you are into sub only type of basslines, try SonicCharge Microtonic - Pretty easy to dial up some tunable 808 type of subs but with more control and variation...

+1 for mtonic. I find that FM8 or impOSCar are particularly good softsynths for bass. FF Twin as well.

vstation is always good,fm8 as mentioned,albino...any synth will eventually give u good results if u fck about with themlong enough

reaktor can do all you want,

or you could make a simple bass with operator...

or you could make a drum sample and make a tom bassline...

or....

Might be worth getting to know what you are using rather than trying too many things, far better to use a couple of synths that you know really well, than a dozen that you don't.

Stick with a few solid ones and learn how to manipulate things like envelopes and LFO's. Often a basic sound can be taken to whole new levels when you add 'expressive elements' from the more esoteric functions of the synth.
