Info

Fo_sek – Net Party Exit

When does the net party start you may ask, and when exactly is the best time to exit?

Fo_sek is Dave Basek (Soma, Kindred Sounds, EQ) + Ed Function (Kindred Sounds, Junkbeats) and they’ve spruced up the life of the party at your local clubbing haunts. Tech-house and click are the tickets on this vessel that slithers easily between the analog bass and electronic platter of noise and headiness, a fine way to liven up your party.

Dave Basek rolls out his remix with noticeable swing and slips the groove off the deepest end of house and tech. This could only be described as a sound investment in musical black magic.

Ed Function cleans up the mix with a super deep redub. More heady, cycling bleeps and pops, sporadically placed in a solid tech house format. Byron Bay boy Ed’s time in the Swiss city of Basel has lead to a noticeable touch of the Swiss house phenomenon the is currently sweeping the world via the Dynamic Records crew.

Reactions

Deepchild (OM, Future Classic)

Bloody f***n 'ell. Some-one better step up to the plate, because Junkbeats are representin' way too hard. It's individuals like Davey-B who force me into excile in Europe for half the year - embarassingly good. And as for Ed F - been waiting a couple of years now to hear from this boy. An original Junkbeats contender for me, since the original Lighthouse compilation - back in smooth, deep, form. That's it - I retire. I'm going back to makin' hip-hop and listening to Junkbeats for the rest of my life...A++

Tyler Stadius (Fabric, Deep Xperience, Nordic Trax)
‘Cool tunes - right twisted and deep’

Jeff Samuel (Poker Flat, Trapez, Logistic, Spectral Sound)
‘i like the redub...ultra-deep but quite tasty!’

Mike Callander (dataondub)
‘Lovin’ the Ed Function mix the most... Nice and dreamy! Will get some play out of the original too’

Fantastics reviews there for an awesome tune. This sounds great on a PA. Really takes on a new shape all together.

Solid like.

Cheers
