[ADIG07] Wig Water Magic - Transitman EP w/remixes

Post by adjunct »

hi mnml!

The "Transitman" EP is Jon McMillion's 2nd release
on Adjunct Digital under the Wig Water Magic
moniker. This time he unleashes three more deep
and trippy late night jams. On remix duties are
Stefny (Contexterior, Archipel) and Adjunct boss
Kenneth James Gibson aka [a]pendics.shuffle.

some feedbacks::::

"Transitman" may be the lead track here, but "Gotta Love It" and "It Ain't Simple" are the most striking members of this selection. Great beat down style tracks, especially "Gotta Love It" which has some serious dancefloor menace. Nice work ... thanks for this."
- Q Burns Abstract Message (Hallucination Ltd., Eighth Dimension)

"[a]pendics.shuffle's hypnotic, psychedelic odyssey is the mix for me - will try!  thanks!!"
-Noah Pred (Thoughtless Music, Immigrant)

"love the originals on the wig water magic ep. ive always loved that watery dark (what used to be called) minimal sound, even if i dont play as much of it anymore. great."
-Beaner (Bar25, Thema)

"man these wig water originals are off the charts!  perfectly relaxed deep trippy tunes for grooving."
-Butane (Alphahouse, Crosstown Rebels)

"Love all the tracks, Adjust as hot as always. Full support !!"
-Shaun Soomro (Lick My Deck)

"we love Adjunct!! thanks for releasing such wonderful music, this release is amazing transitman both original and [a]pendics shuffle remix are amazing!
will include in our next podcast and in all our upcoming gigs!!! thanks for sending"
- signal deluxe ( Blaq)

"Transitman ([a]pendics.shuffle’s "Dirty Fridge" Mix) is great - thanks a lot"
-Anthony Collins (Vakant, Freak n' Chic)

"loving all the tracks.  finally, something different for these gay times."
-Someone Else (Foundsound, Alphahouse)

"Beautiful release. Intelligent, crafty and bumpin. I’m feeling the [a]pendics.shuffle remix the most. Proper Adjunct quality."
-Alland Byallo (Liebe*Detail, Poker Flat)

"All are for great listening yet "Gotta Leave It" and " It Ain't
Simple" just made my day. Can't wait to play'em when I get a chance.
Thanks for the great tunes!"
-Stan Min (Mineral Musica)

"the transitman ep is dope!,, i pick the appendic shuffle mix"
-Luca Ortega aka Lineas De Nazca (Rrygular, Alphahouse)

"John McMilion is a strange cat, and under his Wig Water Magic guise he takes
a deep swig of the Berlin infatuation with recombinating house music's
quirky vocals and piano leads with the deep minimalist aesthetics that have
kept techno -- if not electronic music in general -- so alive these past few
years. However let me reiterate strange --- on "Transitman," McMillion
appears to channel the spirit of San Francisco's Safety Scissors as he sings
about "something in his fridge," a riff reminiscent of Mathew Patterson
Curry's quirky house jams.

"Gotta Leave It" is a psychedelic bubble love track that blends house into
an underwater session -- or gives the impression you've sucked on too many a
nitrus balloon (take your pic; either way you can't really breath).

Capable remixes are provided by the always unspellable [a]pendics.shuffle,
who clip-claps "Transmitman" into an eloquent house track, and Stefny, who
lowers the pulse into the realms of deeper house."
