"After releasing great works on labels like Vekton, BMG Records the duo from Praga ,whit Saint Broccoli EP, made their first appeareance on Monocline records over the 27th package of Monocline imprint with a classy contemporary piece of minimal techno music. The package is completed by two outsrtanding remixes for the track "I Eat You Walk" by the Berliner Mike Wall and the portuguese producer Lukkas. Insect Elektrika was founded in the year 2002 by the Prague/Čelákovice based pals Martin Vodička and Jan Václavík. Met each other at school, as a stubborn students of building industry. Stepwise gentlemen found same interest in minimalistic sounds and started to make first experimental tracks with modest equipment. Passed through drum and bass, techno and electro laps, finally found themselves in minimal-- which is still the base for the current production."
