Atesh K. – Redirections (Outland Records)

Outland Records delves deeper this time with this Detroit-influenced techno track by Atesh K. who brings his warm sound all the way from Nicosia, Cyprus. The original mix sets a warm atmosphere, with classic 909 drum sounds creating a strong drive. The easy and well-chosen buildups and breakdowns result in a deep track that keeps its percussive edge. Anoesjka’s remix on the flipside uses the same chords and stays with the warm vibe, but brings in the recognizable Amsterdam-house sound to it: thanks to the stripped, pumping and funky drum patterns which blend perfectly with the chords, this stuff will certainly do it on the floor!
