I had an external drive burn out on me including approx £400 worth of downloads from them....so I tried to download them again (they are only digital files after all!)....and it doesn't allow me......i find this to be pretty shocking!!!

400pounds = lot of cool vinyl records :)

I think it's pretty logical u can't download the same thing liek million times over...
take your drive to a specialist. they can usually fix things.
If it literally didn't "burn" on you :)

backup your stuff. backup your stuff. backup your stuff.

No matter how many times you tell people this, there's always one that won't do it, and then has to complain on a board that the store is full of bad persons because he was the lazy/careless person to begin with.

Actually, you should just email them. I have heard of several that got the possibility to download their entire buying s from Beatport again after harddisk crash.
Besides that I agree with RC.

Edit: if you don't have a backup of your files, then I think no one can feel sorry for you.

WHO ARE YOU TO CALL ME LAZY/CARELESS?!?........even if i am......i think you missed my point! My point is that they are only digital files...not a material object.........I never said anything about bad people at the store.....i just think once you download a "DIGITAL" file you should be able to download again as it is not a material object!

NOBODY LIKES A SMART ARSE ........... YOU PRICK!!!
