Hey guys, I'm wondering since I heard the first track of them what they use for their Basses. I always think it is the same bass sound just a bit modulated. I am new here in this forum and hope my topic fits in. I don't want to copy it but it has just such an unique sound, maybe one of the quality sound designers know how to get there.
The more acid variation like it sounds in Angels:

aaaand when he uses a cleaner bass:

cheers and thanks in advance.

Re: Sit/Cristi Cons Basslines
Didn't listen to all of them but Omsupreme has a bass sound that you should be able to get on any analog/VA/subtractive type synth. Possibly a pulse wave or a saw & a square with slight detuning and a bit of filter let through for bite. I was playing with a sound similar to this the other day that's why I replied referencing that particular track. I ended up using a software synth in the end as it actually sounded better than my original sound ( which was a sub oscillator & a pulse waveform from an SH101 triggered from TAL Sampler )
Anyway, as far as software goes, I'm really liking u-he Repro-1, certainly capable of anything like that. I didn't have time to check the others though so maybe someone else can chime in there...

Thanks for the fast reply, I found the U - He Repro 1 for free after a short search. But wondering now whats the difference to this one:
http://www.pluginshopberlin.de/U-He/U-H ... ynthesizer (they charging 100 bucks for it)
For the first look the repro sounds dope and is really a bass synth I was searching for. You were right it is possible to get really near to the sit bassline sounds. Maybe somebody has also a solution how to get there with a handsone synthesizer? I own the Korg Minilogue.

Re: Sit/Cristi Cons Basslines
umm SH101?
Pretty sure my Bass Station 2 can do that as well. But likely SH101. Has that nice clarity in the mids/low-mids.
