Rumble effect

Post by Joseph76 »

Hi guy, since a bit of time I'm wondering how it's possible to make a rumble (like from a stomach) as we can heard at the beginning of this Youtube link (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9Hd4mU4E6U). Do you know how make it ? Maybe by playing with some "noise" effect on a modular system (I think it's a track signed "Sir Villalobos"... and he is familiar with the this stuff)
By the way if someone knows the id of the track...
(You've got the similar sound in this video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=giQPIJNGnfo of an amazing moment in Paris)

Thank you guys.

Hey Joseph,

Consider experimenting with:
Any simple synth, very low pitch, high resonance filters being performed, into a Lexicon PCM42 or some other down-sampling type delay. I would mess with the filters and the feedback and samplerate on the delay unit.

Also, if you have some kind of spectral delay (multi-band delay) plugin, that might a texture you'd like on low sounds which have attack or on perc in general.

I hope that wasn't too cryptic. Let me know if that was helpful in some way.

Best,
