Human or robot? Looks like an automatic Shazam/whatever to Soundcloud machine, see e. g. here:

Anyone knows anything? Just curious.

Re: soundcloud tagmeister
This is very strange man
the love that u took from me was always meant to be with me
Re: soundcloud tagmeister
yeah its some kind of bot/script
but i didnt think this was possible, cause shazam should limit the requests from one source. a script like that would make hundreads of request in an hour
but this is only a taste of what will come.
IDing tracks will be a thing of the past after shazam aquires the millions of tracks on beatport.

yeah, it has to be some shazaam bot or something, because it pegged a bunch of tracks in that recorded set of mine that are close, but not accurate. weird off-label compilations that had the tracks, but not anything close to the original release or version.
regardless, its actually super annoying. its much more fun when people compile it together as a community, not when one dude goes in and lays the entire thing out in five seconds.
in that set that isn't mine that you put after your edit, a perfect example is the two taggings of "no ufo's" - it made them both a little over two minutes apart on the timeline, but two different spellings, only because you can hear the "uhh" from the beginning of the track when he's mixing. it recognized that grunt and some reverse effects in like a nanosecond!

Beatport is already incorporated. It doesn't really change much, since most good (unknown) tracks are off vinyl anyway.Themis wrote:yeah its some kind of bot/script

Re: soundcloud tagmeister
there are definitly good unknown tracks on vinyl, but there are 10 times more good tracks that are released also digital.
if i would start playing only tracks that are not available digitally, i couldnt play so many tracks i love that seems stupid
