Does anyone have experience of using more than one controller at a time with Ableton? Just wondering if this is feasible. Is it possible to get Ableton to respond to different controllers simultaneously?
Does it require configuring the MIDI channels or can 2 USB devices just be connected? Or do you just need the 2 going into some MIDI adaptor?
Any tips appreciated
Ableton / 2 midi controllers
I have a Faderfox Micromodul DJ1 Midi controller for Traktor and Ableton Live.
Those are modular with a Midi cable (NO USB!) so you can connect more Faderfoxes to eachother to make a massive Midi controller.

I was gonna write "(non modular system)" in the original post.
I'm aware of the Faderfox setup. I was thinking along the lines of unrelated controllers. For instance, when I saw Portable playing last week he appeared to be using this http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/CS32MIDI/ and a Faderfox. Would these just want to go thru a MIDI interface and that's the job done? Would certain MIDI channels need assigning or would Ableton recognise commands from both?
