i dj at the moment but would like to get into playing my own sh!t out (ableton) live...does ne1 have suggestions on a controller that i can use out as well in the studio?

I know several people who use a Evolution UC-33 to control Ableton Live while performing. It's interface is very handy for creating mixer like settings (for example 3 knobs for eq, a slider for volume and 3 knobs for effectsends).

get this one! It's amazing to work with. And very very very robust. If i had to mark this one it would be 10 of 10.

Thru the encoder Groups you do have 8x4 knobs as well as 8x4 buttons + 16 static buttons and the faders. You can save presets and it works with Reason Live etc. I love it.

Someone Else (found sound)
uses the Behringer for live pa, he likes it alot, but sez hes gone thru like three of them....so i tihnk the Behringer is good if you aint gonna be moving it so much.

Someone brought one to the studio...haven't told him yet but he's not bringing it back home.

No the Behringe is definitly the device to bring on partys, works even good if you are hardcoreusing it. Very very robust!
