Semirk - 101 weeks

Post by Semirk »

Hi again,

Been working on this track and trying to implement a little bit of a weird flavour so hope its come off well. Any opinions would be fantastic. Only a sample at the moment.

I kinda like it man. Weirdness indeed. The stabby synth that runs right through is just a little bit too much for my head as it is. I would look at dropping it out for a bit (but you might do this in your arrangement anyway). Would maybe effect this sound too to weird it out some more...

keep at it!!!

There are some cool elements in there man, the underlying synth sounds nice, i'm not too sure about the main melody tho.

I like the stab fx from the melody in the last few bars.

I'm into the delayed percussion element that comes in around the minute mark aswell, looking forward to checking out the finished product :D

initial deep synth is great, very clean. the phone rhythm is weird, and i remain undecided about it.

like the percussion elements in there.

i want to be doing some reverse reverb action on that phone rhythm lead.
as the lead dies at 2:01 onwards, thats the sh!t!!!!

fck the rest, focus on that... nice one, it got me in the end.

Many thanks for the feedback. :) Most people aren't sure about the little melody but I like it so i'll work with it. :) The rest of the track will involve other elements away from that anyway and will be posted on here soon.

yes im in agreement....its hard to keep something so dominant....running thru the whole song....

that opening synth needs to do something...or go away for a bit...

that alone would do alot for this track
