Future Garage/2step!!

Post by Hutch »

Any suggestions on some names other than the obvious ones?

I dunno about you guys, but this is the direction of the "next" best thing in my opinion and techno evolving.

The production value is amazing, and it embraces techno and house elements. Deep basslines and sick drum patterns.

I've started playing it out now. Not many people in my city are playing it either. Ive only met one other person and I'm pretty well connected which is making me love it even more :)

I follow Skudge on Facebook. They post some cool stuff.
Go to Beatport and start with Hotflush or Naked Lunch and see what else people bought or Beatbot recommends.

Yeah, Swamp81 is a real good one!

Boddika (one of those obvious ones?) is a good person to watch. All electronic DJs should have something by him! 8)

I find difficult to dance to that music. Not that is bad, I think its sounds really awesome but the dance factor so people dont get asleep on the dancefloor is an important point for me.

Any of it beats brostep on the floor!

It takes a little bit of digging, but a danceable post-dubstep set is totally possible. Hopefully, this stuff will turn some of these Skrillex freaks in a more positive direction!
