[PAL039] John Tejada - The end Of It All - Palette

Post by Richie C »

ARTIST John Tejada
TITLE The End Of It All
LABEL Palette

Here it comes, 'The End Of It All' The VERY LAST JOHN TEJADA EVER if not THE LAST GOOD AMERICAN TECHNO RECORD EVER. After this, John will take over his job as Chairman of BMW america and produce NEO COUNTRY in DENVER, Colorado as a sparetime occupation! OH sh!t, but John what did you do on this your last record. A classic melodic Tejada piece flawless as ever with heavily distorted chords underpinning a spheric, slightly sentimental chime melody over hard as nails handclapping beats. with it’s sneaky bassline, acid chirps and bubbly percussion sounds the b-side takes us down a slightly more sinister path. One last blissed moment. Jesus -Goosebumbs all over - John you will be missed! Look forward to see your Biography filmed in 30 years or so.

Tracks & Samples:

A1. The End Of It All
B1. Forced Fiction

from the palette website:
Up next on the Palette release list is pal-039. A 2 track single by John Tejada titled "The End Of It All." Don't let the title fool you. It's a classic melodic Tejada piece backed by a more sinister B side.

Following shortly pal-040, the "Mono On Mono" remixes featuring Plaid and Pole.
There is no reason for Tejada to quit, he's now more popular and getting paid more money than ever before. Not that those should be the only two reasons, but I can't see him quitting with those two in mind.

if he was seriously quitting for a cushy job then i take back every good thing i ever said about him.

I was quite disappointed by his last PokerFlat... just bought it, but now I want to sell it again.

I didn't think it was all that either. He is definitely a bad ass but lets be honest, he's slightly overrated.
