to throw a magnificent portion of releases-insanity amid the devotees. That´s the way it should be, when it sparks and tingles between the knee joints…
This time all spots are directed toward the Canadian sound artist Alicia Hush from Toronto, which operates her own platform „hushlamb productions“ together with like-minded people.
Canada, there was nevertheless something in history - Yes baby, frickel your hair for me, held it pointing the way in the first half of the millenium particularly from Québec and Ontario.
The Hype is past, but the soul and passion of the music stayed, as you can clear recognize also by the work of this young lady. Madame Hush belongs in her hometown to the activists of the good taste with jagged vibe and without trend dictation.
Her „Milk Munny EP“ garnished with remixes of Demas and Berk offset (9Volt, Musikkrause) is a varied and swinging certification of club entertainment between experimental and peaktime music. Voice-samples, chaff-groove, darkside melodies, limbo-beats,... It´s everything in it. The tracks sound itself very familiarly.
Yes it is - however the tracks come along very freshly and sexy. It fits like a glove to breathe and dance!
