How many sales for beatport top 100?

it looks different. i don't really use it but as you were on the chart i thought i'd have a look.

the 'new' one is pretty much the same as the old one except that HTML4 has replaced Flash. I like the new one more simply because you can fit more tracks on one screen, so less page-'turning'

As for the actual question: I think in minimal you're already in top 20 with 50 or so downloads. That explains why f.e. Wortkabular has been sitting in that top 100 for as long as I can remember

I know there's a lot of Beatport's flash interface haters here, but I liked it! It was really simple and I am really used to it. So I dislike the new BP ;(

The back button didn't always work on the old one. That difference alone gets a +1 from me!

Selling exclusively through a particular store could get you on their charts. It might negatively affect total sales, but numbers would be higher at that one place.

What about having friends buy enough tracks to get you on?
If 50 sales will do it, you could just give 50 people $1.49 to go to Beatport.

Yep thats possible. Each single user can buy a release 3 times as well.

But be aware, that some weeks you need 100-200 to get into the chart.
It all depends on which genre the track is in, how many other good releases are out the current week, and of course also if you're in a holiday season or not...
