I'm so sick of all the crap that the local dj's play here.
In Liverpool we even have our own version of cheesy sh*tty hard house music - Scouse House (it really exists - just take a look on juno)

Clubbing In Liverpool - why I hate it!!!
I'm just in a bad mood because I went out for a mate's birthday last night and every bar we went to was playing that rubbish. It gets depressing after a while...
Liverpool is actually pretty good for harder techno. Dave Clarke is a regular, Surgeon is playing the end of this month, then Speedy J in March. But we never get any minimal. Just isn't popular round this way...
Anyway, back on topic - those tunes suck!! I hate that kind of track - just a "bouncy" bassline with some sped up vocals, normally of a recent pop song, thrown on top. Records that sound like you could make them in 15 minutes. Painful stuff...
