Remix Contest - “Invocation” Hefty and Dave Elyzium

[Dark & Sonorous]

Stages:

1. June 1 - June 30: Download Phase - The remix parts will be available on the website of the label. http://www.darkandsonorous.tk

2. June 15 - July 31: Upload / Submission Phase - Upload your remix to http://soundcloud.com/groups/remix-cont ... recordings During this phase the remixes can be listened to.

3. August 1 - August 14: Voting Phase - The public votes for their favorite remixes. Between 15 August and 19 August, Hefty, Dave Elyzium and Dark and Sonorous Recordings choose the winning remix.

Contest Rules:

1. Genres we accept are Minimal and Techno.

2. when uploading the remix to the track soundcloud group must be complete. (NOT ACCEPT PREVIEW).

3. Remixes using “uncleared” samples will be disqualified. An “uncleared sample” is a musical work, loop or sample that is copyrighted (ie: you didn’t create it). Entrant(s) are free to use royalty-free loops, stems and samples and/or sounds the entrant(s) has originally created.

4. The winning remix will become the legal property of Dark and Sonorous Recordings. Your remix contest submission becomes the legal property of the record label hosting the competition as protection against the release of unauthorized remixes.

5. Remixes should be in the best quality (16 bit, 44100 khz, WAV quality master file).

6. All trademarks and logos are protected. All rights of the producer and the owner of the recorded work are reserved. Unauthorized copying, hiring, renting, public performance and broadcasting of this record, remix or remix parts is prohibited.

7. Neither Hefty, Dave Elyzium, Dark and Sonorous Recordings not accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, liability, injury or upset caused to or suffered by you as a result of entering the competition. Hefty, Dave Elyzium, Dark and Sonorous Recordings further accept no liability for any damage caused to any person’s computer or other electronic device relating to or resulting from downloading any materials, including so called computer viruses, in connection with this competition. Nothing shall exclude us from our liability for death or personal injury as a result of our negligence.

8. Release and Indemnity: By completing and submitting an entry for the Contest, Participant agrees to abide by the terms of these official rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to the Contest. Except where prohibited by law, each winner consents to the use of their name, likeness (including photographs and video of participant), and entry (with the exception of the winner’s contact information, including address, telephone number and email address) in any manner by Dark and Sonorous Recordings without any further consent or compensation, unless prohibited by law. Dark and Sonorous Recordings Parties shall not be responsible for any damages, taxes, or expenses that any winner might incur as a result of the Contest. All Contest participants and winner agree that Dark and Sonorous Recordings will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, liabilities, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with participation in the Contest or acceptance.

9. The winning artist will receive 25% of the proceeds of the remix on beatport and Junodownload.

10. The winning artist will be part of Dark and Sonorous Recordings and will have a place to throw a release of the amount of track that the artist wants.

11. the winning remix comes out September 14, 2011 on beatport with other remixes by: Splatter, Minimum, Monktec, Jumex and Aftermath.

12. Your submission of a remix in this Contest constitutes your agreement to these Rules.
