Public House is celebrating its birthday! After 2 years of parties that have brought our unique brand of after hours mayhem to carribean pubs, noodle bar basements, refurbed pubs, an old rehearsal studio and countless other nooks and crannies in East London we have to thank all of you who have supported us over the last two years and the wonderful artists who have soundtracked the journey. However the unsung heroes have been our three residents Sidd, Traves and Finn Casey. As well as co-founding the Public House family these three have been blazing a trail of aural delights and have crafted some of the best PH moments over the last two years. In a break from last years celebrations we have gone back to our roots to plan a very, very special event for our birthday on April 9th - a Resident's fiasco with a twist. The twist is one of the most amazing spaces in London. Public House is taking over an amazing new intimate venue for our 2nd Birthday Fiasco.
We have commissioned an amazing new basement space situated just off City Road just up from Old St roundabout. The venue is spectacular - raw, unadulterated and perfect for the Public House celebration. Its not all change though, just as the photo's from last year's party showed, our crew really got into the spirit, so extravagant, flamboyant and darn right silly fancy dress, make up and all other decorative items are positively encouraged. So get your thinking caps on, be as creative as you can, and help us celebrate 2 years of Public House.
The gallery is a very intimate space with a booming bespoke sound system being installed especially for us so to ensure your entry please email us all your names public.house@live.com. This event will reach capacity very quickly so be sure to get your names in and arrive early on the night to avoid disappointment.
