Planet Rose Special ‘Surprise Edition’
Grote zaal: suprise line up
Kleine zaal: Mathew Jonson (Minus, can) + Israel Toledo (Mayday, mex) + Pure (Fingers Ltd)
entree 12,- (voorverkoop 10,-)/ van 23.00 tot 6.00 uur/ na 4.00 uur geen toegang

Vanavond hebben we een Surprise Edition. We houden dus geheim wat er gaat gebeuren in de grote zaal. Laat je maar eens verrassen! We kunnen echter wel een klein tipje van de sluier oplichten want de line up van de kleine zaal maken we wel bekend. Daar is het Nederlandse debuut van de Canadees Mathew Jonson. Met zijn heerlijk slepende minimal gooit hij al tijden erg hoge ogen. Zijn recente ‘Decompression EP’ op Minus is een regelrechte hit.

4-hours set of Ricardo Villalobos

(Unfortunately only in Dutch)

Planet Rose presenteert 16 oktober, in samenwerking met Technootjes uit Groningen, een 4-uurs-set van Ricardo Villalobos. Als er dit jaar iemand in Nederland een grote doorbraak heeft bewerkstelligd, dan is het deze Chileense Duitser wel. Villalobos is al sinds halverwege de jaren negentig hard aan het zwoegen om (via labels als Playhouse en Perlon) zijn minimale house en techno aan de man te brengen. Met het succes van zijn prachtig debuutalbum ‘Alchachofa’ lijkt ie ook eindelijk hier loon naar werken te krijgen, Duitsland lag immers al aan zijn voeten. In zijn kielzog breken ook artiesten als Wighnomy Brothers, Michael Mayer en Dj Koze bijzonder harde noten. Verwacht vier uur lang hypnotiserende diepgang en subtiele gekte van de meester himself. Technootjes neemt uiteraard een flink aantal residents mee.

I've heard also that there will be held a special party with johnson on a 'secret location' for 200 peeps?? with the guys of minimal eindhoven and others.. but the date is the 23th too....
