On Saturday 26th February, 13 PERCENT joins forces with local promoter Noisefloor to present THE 13TH FLOOR. Initially, Onur Ozer was scheduled for this event, but we unfortunately had to delay his booking due to unforeseen reasons. So in his place, we're proud to announce Detroit veteran, DANIEL BELL aka DBX [Perlon, Accelerate, 7th City] as his replacement! We've distinctly heard his flavor of deep hypnotic techno in Montreal on three different occasions (Nuit Electronik @ Station C, Soirée Risquée @ Daomé and most recently our 13 PERCENT 2 Year Anniversary @ Stereo), so it's an absolute honor to have the legend return in a more intimate setting.
Headlining alongside Daniel Bell, is Los Angeles-based rising star, DRUMCELL [Droid Recordings, CLR]. Drumcell earned the title of product specialist for Native Instruments. He is out there pushing the limits of what current technology has to offer- developing homebrew software as well as cutting edge hardware solutions to bring a fresh, innovative taste to his production and performances. Innovations that blur the lines between live performance and a traditional DJ set up creating “a thick blend of acidic techno and aggressive but funky minimalist groove”. This will be Drumcell's exclusive Canadian debut, and we're extremely proud to be hosting it! Local support comes from OSTRICH (13percent) and MILTON CLARK (Noisefloor).
