Are you Still Awake!?
For every dance lover who is still awake after a whole night of Klokgebouw techno or for anyone who just wants to have a nice party at a Sunday morning, Still Awake presents you this special after party which will be almost entirely devoted to back to back gigs and dj’s from Eindhoven.
Firstly Still Awake continues this morning with two guys from Eindhoven who need no introduction; Zix b2b Rick Angel. Last August they played back to back for the first time in the famous club Paradiso Amsterdam, and due to great success they will do this again especially for this after party. Zix is a member of the Dommelvalley Eindhoven techno collective and Rick is connected to the techno-acid-tekno organization Zodiak Commune. Over the past fifteen years both organizations have made the Einderground unsafe in almost every clubbing- environment you can imagine, thus you can be assured that this fifteen year experience will be represented this morning in full techno power.
After these gentlemen the morning has advanced and the legs, ears and spirit perhaps might be a little bit exhausted by all those pounding techno beats. Therefore it’s the turn of ‘Mystery Guest’ followed up by Andrea Cichecki b2b Jaimer Vincentie to take over the turntables. These two talents are from the Eindhoven minimal techno and tech-house scene; Andrea is known from her Dust parties in the ‘Hoogste Tijd’ and Jaimer has performed at Extrema’s Solar Festival and the famous Eindhoven Mono40 parties. Both are working hard on their goal to become successful producers and they hope to release their own productions in the very near future. This morning they will reduce the past techno violence to very nice deep, melodic and minimal tunes so you will be able to chill nicely during those last afterhours, because for our closing performance Still Awake has two very special artists lined-up for you…
Recently Dj Estroe (Esther Roozendaal) put her on top of her list of best and most favorite discoveries of 2010 and also her first label records are set to be released. Just 21 years old and already well on producing, Nadia Struiwigh has been working hard to build on her future. Nadia and Estroe are going to play back to back for the first time and especially for this after party. If you still have some energetic dance moves left or just want to enjoy some last spacey afterhours Still Awake definitely recommends you to stay and listen to these deep, electronic, experimental tech-house ladies. You will definitely not regret it!
