i'm not sure if I should change thread but it seems specifc about triggering this device.

it's kind of difficult to handle.
let's say that i plug an audio output form a mixer directly to the mbase.
i need to set the trigger level very high. 250. sometimes it's going crazy and get to much trig input, but when i lower the level by 1, then is not enough!!!!???
is that normal or what?
thanks, J
Not sure... Maybe email JoMoX and get an idea about how to calibrate it?

from jomox peepz:
''that can be normal and depends on the signal - it should be a sharp clicky short signal with clear transients - eg a short clap or a pulse trigger from a modular, not a kick drum that has multiple waves. the input works better with drum trigger pads, that is what it is made for actually.''
no way to use it triggered on whatever I like. make sense but a little bit depressing. can't be used aside of a dj set though... a general mixer doesn't have a sharp clicky signal coming out...

What is your overall goal? are you trying to have a basskick to go along with vinyl? to thicken up the low end in some way? might be better to be in the digital domain or use a drum machine to match beats to.
