FOF kick off 2011 with a nod to the past in the form of Justin Drake (Peace Division) and Kevin Griffiths' (Tsuba) 'The Devil's Eyes', a deliciously grimy jackin' groove, coming on like a low slung mid 90s house production a la Schatrax.
We enlisted the talents of Christopher Rau for the first remix. As many of you know Christopher has had an impressive 2010 culminating in his critically acclaimed LP 'Asper Clouds' for the always excellent Smallville label. Chris cleverly uses elements of the original, intertwined them into an altogether quirkier, more optimistic deep house groove with a definite injection of 'fun'
To round off the package, new talent Bleak takes the reigns, providing a peak time techno stomper. Bleak's debut single will be released on Hamburg imprint 'Sudden Drop' sometime in early 2011 and promises to mark Bleak out as a name to look out for.
