problem recording midi in cubase

hey.. when i play on my keyboard and record it into cubase.. everything sounds fine while recording.. but when i listen to the playback the groove iss gone and the notes do not sit correctly.. i think it has to do something with the quantiziation settings.. do you know where i can adjust this, turn it off or any other idea??.. studying the manual did not help

can it be some latency problem??

hmm well i dont think so.. because when i record the notes sit perfect.. just at playback they dont.. quantisation iss turned off.. read in the manual that this problem occures when using emulated midi ports.. but i dont have any emulated.. i dont get it :-/
