Agents or rep new trend?

Ok I don't know if we're the only ones going through that but Archipel has been receiving a lot of mails from supposedly "Artist's agent" who want to make a track sign. I don't know if any of you are are using that kind of service but I'd like to know how much you pay for that kind of... let's say, worst way to represent you.

I'm going to be quite direct but if you're working with someone to represent you, just make sure this person is hired because he will make you look great and knows his 1 2 3 of music industry. I'm not going to go through the demo-submission ABC once more because this has been discussed so many times but this is just a friendly advice: make sure to keep track of what this rep says about you because I'm currently compiling emails of hilarious content.

Not to say, list of people we know we'll never sign

Sort of make me want to become an agent, I'm sure it pays more than making music nowadays
