Something else than Free Floats

Hi people,

i'm wondering if someone could help me out with this one..

its something else than a "normal" free float, but what is it?
and where can i buy it?

Can't make out what those are but I hear that cutting tennis balls in half and placing them under the turntable feet works.

Good topic. My friend needs a solution bad for this. Drives me crazy at his house when people walk bye and my record skips off!! I tried googling looking for soemthing similar and didn't have much luck.

thanks for the response.
i always take my freefloats with me when i play somewhere.

but the free float is in no time leak..
most of the time is a burning cigarette the problem.
so i was curious about these blue things.
now i know that its a squash ball, cut in half. i'll buy myself 4 squash balls then.

never used freefloats but they look really unstable, dangerous and funny...

the ones in the pic look a bit like the isonoe isolation system. also used in club fabric.

we use a combo of the free float and a huge metal plate. The plate fits over about four floats, and the decks are placed on top of that. Funny thing is that it also seriously helps agains feedback issues and such.

Too bad most people don't even use the turntables anymore :|
