man that blade runner blues track is so perfect.

It's pretty likely that the soundtrack guys were using lots of different gear. Cos I'm guessing they got pretty decent commission monies. I know that Vangelis had a pretty decent array of gear anyway, and that guy Hans Zimmer has a fucking massive room with gear on every inch of wall. (but i think personally that it's better to know a few things inside out rather than just go crazy... e.g. http://www.stuckincustoms.com/2010/01/2 ... ent-743798 )

Usually 'vintage' means circuits made with analogue components by somebody with passion. A little bit goes a long way.

- Korg Mono Poly
- Sequential Circuits Pro One
- Sequential Circuits Prophet Series
- Yamaha CS Series
- Korg Poly Series
- Moog Memorymoog
- Oberheim Expander
- Oberheim Matrix Series
- Oberheim OB Series
- Roland Jupiter Series
- Roland Juno Series

There must be some of these in those productions.

And these are just the analog keyboard. then you have the digital stuff and of course the modular (most where build in the 70s, but still widely used in the 80s) goodness.

I still love Ennio Morricone, goldsmith though orchestral. in the synth influenced section I love vangelis, also later stuff of Maurica Jarre (father of Jean-Michel). I really like Hans Zimmer's music too (really amazing talent that guy).
