Celebrating it's 5th year anniversary, Archipel's family compiles some new music or you! A link between the past and the future unfolds into sound.
Archipel has been a family and a community, in constant growth, for the past five revolutions around the sun and we've had so many excellent personal and shared experiences within this hive of great minds through this time. We are so proud to bring you together with us in celebration of our five years and five years yet to come. We'd like to mark this milestone with "Alike Minds: 5 Years Archipel Of Music" which is a very condensed hint of what we've done and what we aim for in the future. What are we aiming for? The greatest of mysteries. We have come about by synchronicity and it has brought us here. As the branches of our tree grow ever more and stronger still we are as much in this mysterious adventure as you are. This is something shared and we are proud and happy to have shared and to continue sharing more with you.
In this compilation we've selected twelve pieces from some of our best (although we view all our artists in the brightest light!) artists. Pieces cover a vast range of feelings and tempos as much our community as a whole embraces variety. Pieces range from the soft fizzing ambience of Offthesky through to the mesmeric funk of Jack Rock, Time For Trees and Vincent Casanova. From the warm and bright hypnosis of Sula, Louer, Niederflur and Sensual Physics to the thick heady slabs of techno from Smirk, Stefny, Pheek and Flourish.
We hope you enjoy where we've all been and will join us on the journey to where we are going. In any case, we are always, here and now, Archipel.
