Unified Sound - Synthetik (Minimal Edit)

Post by kenada »

Hey All,

I posted the original of this track up a few weeks ago, ( http://www.mnml.nl/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=5586 ) and have since been working on this minimal reworking.

As always all thoughts and comments are greatly appreciated, and the kind favour will be returned.

This is definately my kinda thing. The bass and kick suit each other perfectly, the percussion the back is excellent. The flow is good also with a good level of variety in the track also. I don't have a bad thing to say about this especially with an addictive little melody at the front. Great work. :)

this is helluva fat 8) clean and crisp and some crazy stuff happening.
I like the twist it's taking on 4:33, I'd def keep the hat there a bit longer, much longer. This is a stormer.

good work.

damn dude, you are the sh!t. The break down at 1:57 is tits. Im freaking out to that kick shuffle up you did after the break. Im not too much of a fan of the snare drum you got going on there though...it gets kind of tiring throughout the song. I would like to hear you play with the claps more..maybe even throw a random snare in there every other measure. Or possibly use that reverb effect on one clap per 2 measures or something. I can for sure see someone like hawtin playing this out.

Cheers for the words guys. This track is very early stages at present, as my 2 other production partners have been MIA, well ones been in the UK, and the other is having fun cracking codes to break open the stock market.

So this track is most definatly going to develop. For my taste it's borderline repeatative, so we're going to get some more movement in there, but still keep it stripped back.

Thanks again everyone.

I'll post an update as soon as we get working on it, as we've got a lot of material in the pipes at the moment.
