Ryan Elliott's last fabled performance with us in May 2009 was one for the books, as many regard his trademark style and characteristic sound to qualify him as one of the best DJs on the planet.
It is a true privilege to have Ryan, a Detroit native, back with us; as this is his first appearance in Miami since moving to Berlin last year. There, he now heads up label, Spectral Sound, Ghostly's ‘leaner, meaner brother’, with his own unmixed label compilation CD titled ‘Document' to be released this week. [www.spectralsound.com] Fresh off gigs at Weekend Club and Berghain/Panorama Bar, Ryan is surely not to disappoint.
Also joining the roster is another PL0T favorite, Lee Foss, of Hot Natured fame.
Now based out of London and LA, Lee finds himself on the ascent of what has become a breakout year of success. With one of the most exceptionally produced tracks of 2009, 'Grinding' [Wolf + Lamb], various outstanding performances at the Marcy Hotel, WMC 2009/2010 [HOTNATURED/Culprit Showcase] and as one of Culprit LA's resident DJs, Lee has garnered a reputation as of the freshest acts to hit the DJ circuit today.
Aside from touring in 2010, Lee is launching label HOTNATURED, with partner Jamie Jones, with a solo EP from Lee to come this spring, in addition to a standout roster of releases to follow. Lee's and Jamie Jone's Hotnatured Sunday closing party during WMC has become one of the most anticipated events of that week, so surely it is a pleasure to have him back at the Electric Pickle with PL0T.
