scratches on vinyl / vinyl is skipping !!!?? solutions ??

Post by Philsen »

hi @all .-.

i've got my playhouse 094 yesterday : melchior productions - the meaning ...

now the vinyl is hard jumping on the 3'rd track ... i've noticed the seller (discogs) that it is a little bit too hard for a near mint described vinyl that costs 18,- € + shipping when 1 track isn`t playable !!!

but it's the last copy out of the playhouse overstock so he cant exchange it !!

my question is now, are there any tricks i can do to get the track playable !!??

thx in advance ! :)

thats a way to get the track , but i would know if there is any chance to get the whole album on vinyl in a playable condition, ... i dont buy it and then only 7 out of 8 tracks works ;) !!! but if it doesnt work i must buy them digital :( !

You can make your own dubplate for 30 euro if you want your digital on vinyl... just a thought ;) And you can even pass it off to your mates as a ultra-limited promo copy :D

well for startesrs, why is it jumping?
was it mint as in sealed? if it's been played, it's not mint. period.
if there's a scratch, you can ask your money back and give bad feedback cuz I fkn hate people who rate disks with obvious ware "mint" lousy bastards :x
If it was sealed/bad pressing theres quite nothing you can do about it.
Maybe increase the arm weight, try different needle, align the cartridge...
Image we are all atomic and subatomic particles and we are all wireless...

i wouldn't do that.

is it a scratch or a bit of dirt? if it's a scratch you can't clean it out.

i would also give the guy negative feedback on discogs.
